What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it

When registering or buying a product on our Site, you may be asked to enter your name, username, email address, mailing address, and/or other details to help you with your experience.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We do not use the information submitted through our contact form for any marketing purposes.

Cookies

We share information with the following third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you: We use a cloud-based service called Twilio SendGrid to send out promotional emails and product updates to customers who have opted-in to our mailing list. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

We use only the default login mechanisms provided by Woocommerce which takes advantage of the security measures provided by all the contributors. We also restrict public access to the default WordPress login page and disable XMLRPC. The website also uses Cloudflare firewall for Browser integrity checks, DDoS protection, Origin protection TLS encryption HTTP to HTTPS redirection.

Our database server is configured to be used only by our web server which prevents direct access to the database. Our database is also protected with a very strong password and custom database entries.

We test all our code in development environments and no logging or debugging is enabled in our live servers whatsoever to prevent any accidental data leakage.

What data breach procedures do we have in place

If we find our site has been hacked, we will notify the appropriate authorities within 72 hours or less. Also, as soon as we find out about the breach, we will take down the complete website and replace it with a maintenance notification to stop further data breaches. We will launch the rectified website only after testing the fix for the data breach.

What third parties do we receive data from

Currently, we do not receive personal data from any third-party services.

What automated decision-making and/or profiling do we do with user data

We do not do any automated decision-making or profiling with the user data.
